A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. This site also uses your browser's local storage in the same spirit, for example to hold the result of a car search for a few minutes so that moving between pages does not re-run it.

What we use, and why

What we do not do with them
We do not use cookies to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell what they record. We take no payment on this site, so no cookie here is involved in a transaction.
How to refuse or remove them
Every browser can block or delete cookies and clear local storage, usually under privacy or site data settings. You can do this at any time, for this site alone or for all sites.
Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop the search from working properly, because there is nowhere to keep the query while the page loads results. Blocking the optional ones has no effect beyond losing your saved preferences.
Cookies set by other companies
Following a link to a rental supplier takes you to their website, where their cookie policy applies instead of this one. The same is true of the booking platform that completes a reservation.
