デポジット、エクセス、ホールドは同じではありません
レンタカー会社はこれら3つをすべて使い、時には一文の中で使います。その違いが、旅行中にどれだけの金額が利用できなくなるかを決めます。
デポジット
レンタカー会社がレンタルのためにカードにブロックし、後で解除する金額。上記で絞り込んだ車はこれがゼロです。
エクセス
車に損害があった場合に最大で支払う金額。デポジットの有無にかかわらず存在し、追加保険で軽減される部分です。
ホールド
利用可能残高に対してブロックされている金額。請求ではありませんが、解除されるまで使えません。
何が変わるのか
なぜ人々はまずこれで絞り込むのか
ブロックされたデポジットは請求ではありませんが、レンタル期間中は請求のように扱われます。2週間の旅行なら、数百ユーロが2週間使えなくなり、同じカードで旅行費用を支払っている場合は大きな制約になります。

正直な注意点
デポジットなしはホールドをなくしますが、エクセスはなくならず、車をどんな状態でも返却できるわけではありません。
本当に心配なのが事故の費用であって残高の利用制限でないなら、買うべきはエクセスの低いプランであって、デポジットの仕組みを変えることではありません。両者は別の問題を解決しており、レンタカー会社はあまり公言しません。

Yes. The card confirms who is driving and covers anything you add later, such as fuel or a toll. What changes is that nothing is blocked against it for the duration of the rental, so the balance stays available to you.
Not meaningfully here. Burgas is a flat market, roughly EUR 16 to EUR 36 a day across the whole window, and the no deposit cars sit inside that same range rather than above it. In cities with an expensive fleet the gap is real; on this coast it is small enough to ignore.
The excess in your agreement applies, exactly as it would with a deposit. No deposit means the money is not held in advance, not that the car comes without responsibility. If that worries you, the honest answer is to reduce the excess with insurance rather than to choose a deposit.
